Tipping the scales at just 81 kilograms (including full oil and fuel tank), the Yamaha JogR is a featherweight wonder. Its asymmetric frame design is both light and strong, giving secure handling and easy manoeuvrability in town. Out of town, 12inch wheels keep the ride stable, with a front disc/rear drum braking package for progressive, powerful and reassuring stops. Zippy power comes from Yamaha’s well-proven air-cooled 50cc two-stroke engine and twist-and-go V-belt automatic gearbox. Between the seat and the front bodywork there’s a luggage hook to supplement the single-helmet underseat storage space. The analogue/digital instrument panel is as stylish as it is effective. Distinctive graphics and a high-level rear reflector give JogR plenty of road presence. Maximum fun and practicality, with minimal physical effort: that’s the JogR.
