High torque, high power, high agility, and low running costs – the new Grizzly 550 combines every desirable ATV attribute into one athletic and desirable Utility package. At the heart of the Grizzly 550 is a new 558cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected 4-stroke single cylinder engine which incorporates everything Yamaha knows about ATV engineering. This lightweight unit puts a generous spread of flexible power through its Ultramatic dual-range automatic transmission and clean shaft final drive. A choice of two-wheel, four-wheel and four-wheel drive with differential lock is just a button’s push away thanks to Yamaha’s inspired three-mode On-Command drive system. Chassis technology is just as advanced, with disc brakes all round and a superb suspension package – fully independent double A-arm front and rear – delivering precise and comfortable handling.
