YME is responsible for coordinating the marketing and sales activities of Yamaha Motor products in the European marketplace, mainly: Yamaha motorcycles and scooters, marine outboard engines, WaveRunner water vehicles, 4-wheel all terrain vehicles (ATV’s), golf cars, snowmobiles and generators.

Over the years Yamaha has invested in several facilities located in France, Spain, Italy and Turkey which manufacture a range of products including motorcycles, scooters and outboard engines.

Totally designed, developed and manufactured in Europe, the YZF-R125, is an excellent example of how European R&D divisions and production facilities are working together to create new class-leading products for the 21st century. The successful Ténéré 660 (manufactured in Italy) and the very popular X-Max 125 and X-Max 250 (built in Spain) are other examples of this collaboration.
